Uğur H. Özmen, started his professional life in Price Waterhouse Consultancy at 1981. He has worked in various service sector companies including consultancy, shipping agency, training, leasing and retail banking for over 30 years.

In retail banking sector, he has pioneered and managed many projects which were mostly unique applications in Turkey and World. One of them was the issuance of credit card with installment payment . His another project was the replacement of printed catalog system  of the bonus point loyalty program with the online catalogs of one of the most popular  e-tailer company “hepsiburada.com”.

In parallel to his working life, he has attended and completed his graduate studies. He got his MBA degree after the age of 35,  and PhD degree after his 40’s with a dissertation on “Marketing of Financial Services”.

For 7 years, he has worked as Senior Vice President leading Marketing of Retail Banking in FORTIS Turkey. He was responsible from developing and offering all products and services of  individual banking and SME banking in addition to design and monitor the CRM project.

Whilst he was working in Petrol Ofisi A.Ş, he designed and launched Positive card, the most developed loyalty card of Turkey.

For the time being, he is working as free-lance consultant for loyalty cards, CRM projects and payment systems design for retailers.

He has lectured many courses in MBA and Executive Development Programs in different universities and he is still lecturing CRM courses both in MBA and distance learning MBA programs of İstanbul Bilgi University.

He has been invited as speaker or panelist in various conferences and seminars. Some of the projects he has managed has been published as success story on international web sites.

He is very keen on following the recent developments on marketing and CRM and participating in many national and international conferences and training programs since his graduation from University.
